Gain Work Experience through the Engineering Co-op Program

Co-op is a great way to get hands-on experience in your field, get paid, and earn credits toward your degree. Unlike an internship, where you are working but not necessarily getting paid or earning credits, Co-op is a structured program with specific requirements for the student and employer.

Offered as two courses, ENGR 321 and ENGR 322, Co-op provides structure to ensure that students gain relevant, meaningful experience.

Interviewing Workshop

Students interested in Co-op hone their interviewing skills. A professional who works with Engineering students and employers will help you understand how you appear to the employer during an interview and how to make that appearance work in your favor. If you are unsure about how to answer certain questions in the interview, the etiquette involved, or even how to dress, this workshop will help. A role-play exercise demonstrates effective interview strategies.

You might already know what employers value, but how do you convey to them that you have these qualities? This interactive workshop will enhance your confidence, professionalism, and performance.
